🔫🔫 The Murder in Rain 🔫🔫

It was a man, a man with a black hat, black cloak, black trousers; everything black. His back side was visible in the footage. The footage was of around 11:00 pm.

"Interesting…" Ajay paused and then continued "Balbir send that body to postmortem" "Ok sahib" he replied.

Name of the person who was murdered was Raj Srivastav.

Ajay was having a cup of tea.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door just to make things more complicated.

There was a man on the door wearing a casual dress and with a backpack on his back and looking down.

Suddenly he blurt out in tears dropped his bag and ran in and kneeled down.

"I… Tarun Gandhi am your culprit sir please arrest me." said the man in a shaky voice.

"What!" The sentence kept inspector Ajay's heart pounding hard.

"What do you mean young man?"

"I have killed Ram Srivastav; er... Raj Srivastav."

"But we have no proofs to call you guilty." said Ajay

To this Hawaldar replied, "We do sir. Herein the bag is the black hat, clothes and black belt we saw in the footage."

Ajay was not satisfied but according to the law he had to lock him up.

The police found some fingerprints on the things they found.

The finger prints did not match with those of Tarun.

Unexplainably Ajay's instincts said that Tarun couldn't be the culprit.

He reported the same to his senior.

The reply of the senior left Ajay open mouthed he said,

"Ajay we don’t have time to waste on this silly murder case. Here take this." He handed over an envelope to Ajay and said, "Hope you won’t waste this opportunity this time." It was a promotional letter.

"Sir but please listen to me"

But that corrupt officer had left the room.

'Every case is equally important to me and I won't shut it down until I am satisfied even if it took whatever from me.'

Next day Ajay did not report for duty.

On further research it was clear that Ajay had left the force.

Hawaldar Balbir was on duty but was unofficially helping Ajay. Because he trusted him more than anyone.

Ajay searched and found Tarun's address. He went in front of his house door and found a name plate saying -

Ø Tarun 

Ø Riya 

Ø Lakshmi 

THE GANDHIS. 

And found the door locked.

He then walked down the stairs searching for a clue.

Suddenly he met Tarun.

"Tarun?! What are you doing here?"

Tarun got scared and started to run away imagining Ajay as police.

"Don’t be afraid I have resigned and am no longer in the force." Ajay said quickly. 

Tarun stopped and returned back.

He said, "Police procedures take a lot of time and I have no time to spare." 

"Please tell me Tarun what's the matter is anyone forcing you to do all this? Please tell me."



Tarun looked down and said, "I can't tell you much but the thing only I can say is -

Please let me go, step aside 

I won't die but let me suicide 

It may show you things that are in hide. 

"
